EMRIC in the spotlight during the fire service event in Maastricht!
Last week, EMRIC (Euregio Meuse-Rhine – Incident Response and Crisis Management) was in the spotlight during the fire service event at MECC Maastricht.
Petro Winkens, steering committee member on behalf of the Veiligheidsregio Zuid-Limburg, presented the cross-border cooperation network to his Dutch colleagues from across the country.
Because the VRZL borders both Belgium and Germany for the most part, strong cross-border cooperation is not only desirable but essential for effective incident response and crisis management.
Together, we are working towards a safer Euregio Meuse-Rhine – without borders when it comes to safety and emergency assistance.
