On June 18, 2025, the EUMED Hospital Focus Group met under the leadership of its new chairman, Dr. Jörg Brokmann. In the lead-up to the meeting, he visited several hospitals in the Euregio together with the EMRIC office to revitalize cooperation. This approach proved successful: new hospitals joined the focus group and introduced themselves during the meeting. A larger gathering is planned for the autumn to further strengthen ties so that collaboration during emergencies can proceed more smoothly and efficiently.
