Focus group EUMED Ambu visits trauma helicopter

Last week, the EUMED Ambu focus group met at the base of the Christoph Europa 1 in Würselen. The trauma helicopter stationed there has been flying in our Euregio for more than 50 years to save lives and has become a powerful symbol of cross-border cooperation between the emergency services in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.

During the meeting, representatives of the ambulance services from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany discussed how they can further strengthen their cooperation. Afterwards, the colleagues had a unique opportunity to take a closer look at the trauma helicopter.
