Last week, EMRIC organized a cross-border dispatch center exercise in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. The scenario was set in the province of Liège. The aim of this exercise was to realistically train applications for assistance and information exchange across national borders. EMRIC has developed a specific tool for this, which was also tested. After all, it is very important to be able to find each other quickly and efficiently when (urgent) assistance is needed, even if it is on the other side of the national border. In this way we ensure that we are better prepared for real emergencies.
